Childs Revenge
An exhausted chestnut-haired figure slowly opened the front door to a large split level house, sighing. It had been a long five and a half days...so it was nice to get home. Stepping through the door separating front hall from living room, the figure halted. Then blushing hotly, spinning to turn it's back on the scene spread out on the living room couch. "Christ on a cracker...Papa, Dad! Can't you guys take that to your own bedroom?" muttered curses, and the rustle of clothing had the figure smiling slightly....despite the blush covering it's cheeks. A warm hand on the shoulder indicated it was safe to turn around. Laughing violet eyes twinkled mischievously as the smaller figure was pulled into a hug. "Welcome home, sweetheart!" shaking her head, Helen Raven Maxwell-Yuy gave her father a scathing death glare that would rival her other father's look. It was worthy of the Pefect Soldier himself. "You....I, actually expect something like this!" Raven grinned, poking her father in the chest. "But you," she continued with a wave towards the prussian eyed man standing just behind her, "are supposed to be the responsible one in the family." The glitter of amusement in her eyes multiplying at the soft nasal reply of 'hnn'......before she was pulled from one set of arms and enfolded in another. "Status!" the quiet monotone had Raven groaning. Slapping her hand to a forehead in a dramatic pose that was clearly exaggerated, she let herself go limp...trusting she would be caught before hitting the floor. "Dead tired!" she deadpanned. Rolling his eyes at his daughter's antics, Duo Maxwell-Yuy met his husband's eyes over the top of her chestnut head. Sharing a knowing look with his beloved, Heero Yuy gently scooped their daughter into his arms and carried her to the couch that they had earlier abandoned.

Shaking her head sadly....Raven slipped her glasses back on her nose and began sifting through the paperwork piling up on her desk. Watching his friend and lover from the doorway, Damien Treize Merquise-Chang's ice blue eyes narrowed, giving him the look of a predator stalking it's prey. ~She's too distracted, that is going to get her hurt or killed~ Watching more closely, he could see the small play of emotions across his lover's face. Realizing she was lost in memories, Damien leaned heavily against the doorjam, wondering ~Are her memories any better then mine~ Tossing his head to clear those thoughts rising in his mind.....but it was too late as the memory surged forward again. Damien's broad shoulders slumped at the press of guilt.
"Damien is a soldier....like we were, Dragon!" "He will get an education and choose a proper path!" "His path or your's?" "Are you suggesting......" "I am not suggesting anything....Chang Wufei, I'm telling you! I will not force our son into something we both know he doesn't want!" "Then we have nothing further to discuss.....Zechs Merquise!"
Heaving a sigh, Colt took a half-hearted swing at the punching bag in front of him. ~Good thing Dami and Rave aren't here to see me They don't understand why I always need to pound something, when I'm upset~ Catching his reflection in the mirrored wall, Colt fell to his knees as he saw not himself.....but his tall silent father glaring back at him.
"God...so close, Dami! Just a little further, Rave!" "Colton!" After a mad scrambling for clothes and several tense moments while the lovers said their good-byes, Trowa Barton-Winner spoke, "What the hell were you thinking?" "I....." "Don't! Don't even speak!" Emerald eyes full of disappointment and anger. The normal passive face and voice....livid. "You know the rules, and while you live under my roof......" "Then.....maybe I won't live here!" The gentle hand of Quatre Winner shrugged angerly off his son's arm. Tear-filled aqua eyes meeting tear-filled aqua eyes as father and son fought to understand the other. "If you walk out that door, don't bother coming back!" the emerald eyes of his father, Trowa...emotionless and dark. "Fine by me!" snagging a leather jacket off the back of a chair, "I don't need you!" followed by the slamming of the front door and the roar of a motorcycle.
Blinking back tears that threaten to spill over, Colt slowly became aware of comforting voices and gentle lips with softly stroking hands brushing over his hair and face. Opening his eyes to find his two lovers holding him.....their own eyes haunted with memories. ~Father...Dad, please be ok~
A soft cough from the doorway causes the three to jump. Only to meet the calm and understanding eyes of Sally Po.
